PowerPoint record narration background noise

Is there a way to only record my voice and not the background sounds when
using the slideshow . . . record narration feature with a line in microphone?

Thanks for the quick response! I guess I will have to just make sure I do my
narration on a very quiet day in a very quiet room with no interruption. Sue
