PowerPoint reuse slides

I keep getting some green text on some of the reuse slides being inserted..
Original slides have black text but for some reason PowerPoint keeps
changing the text to green but only on certain slides and certain places?
Keep source format box is checked..

I've had this same issue, but I've no idea what the problem really is.

Instead of Reuse Slides, try opening the file, copying the slides, and
pasting them into your file. Choose "keep source formatting" from the paste
options button that appears immediately after you paste in the slides.
