Powerpoint Save As

I want to be able to save a PowerPoint slide as an image file, jpg or png,
from a vb.net application. I know I can do it through PowerPoint with the
"Save As" option but I can't seem to find the method in the PowerPoint
Object Model. Is saving as an image possible programmatically?

Using VS2003 and PowerPoint 2002 (from Office XP).
