powerpoint should have option of displaying % of talk that is pen.

During a slide-show in powerpoint, at the bottom of the screen if you could a
% completed status bar, it would help the speaker pace the talk better.

Also, if the system clock could be displayed in a corner of the slideshow,
that would be very helpful. Or instead of system clock, a count-down timer,
count-up timer, etc.
