Hi kristin,
Mmmmmmark has a good suggestion with Save As Movie. His way will give
the best reproduction. There is a very good help topic "About PowerPoint
Movies" in PowerPoint's help. Be sure to read it.
If your DVD player is fairly recent (last year or so) it probably has a
built-in feature that lets you play a CD of jpegs as a slide show.
Use PowerPoint's Save As JPEG feature to turn your slide show into a
folder full of JPEGS. Burn the folder to a CD, pop it into your DVD
player and it will probably play the whole thing as a slide show. It
will not save transitions, animations, movies, or special effects, but
it is a quick way to get your PowerPoint onto a TV and it's a quick,
easy way to distribute discs to family and friends.
