PowerPoint Style does not update in Producer

I created a powerpoint presentation and then brought it into Producer. I
have since changed the font style associated with the powerpoint template
(the pot file) and the slides updated correctly. In Producer, the slides
also update and everything appears to be correct until I produce the
presentation. The final production still uses the OLD font style. Any
suggestions or solutions to making the final presentation appear with the
updated font style?

I'm using PP 2003 and Producer for PP. I have Office SP2 installed.
