I'm trying to convert a PowerPoint (Office 2007) to a DVD presentation that
can be shown on an ordinary TV screen. I've tried several different
software products, each of which give me problems. I haven't bought any of
the yet, but would if one of them works!
Wondershare PPT2DVD seems to be the most promising, with lots of features,
but when I make a DVD it works fine on my computer, but freezes after a few
slides when I put it into the DVD player for the TV. I am using manual
mode. The support team (yes, they seem to have one, another plus) gave me a
couple of suggestions, but still the same.
So, I tried Moyea PPT to DVD Burner. It has fewer features, but produced a
DVD easily. The problem is that when I play it on the TV, the pictures
flicker. I burned the DVD at the highest possible resolution, but I still
get flickering.
I also tried a product called PowerPoint DVD Converter, but it does not seem
to recognize pptx files, even though it is a 2007 version.
For all of these attempts, I have burned to Philips DVD+R discs. Anyone
have any recommendations?
