How can I convert/export a powerpoint show so that I can burn it to a DVD and
play it in a DVD player as a movie?

How can I convert/export a powerpoint show so that I can burn it to a DVDand

PowerPoint can package itself to CD by its build-in function.But the
output CD is digital CD only be played on computer and can’t be played
on CD player.
You can save your ppt file to image and them use Windows Movie Maker
to add sound and video on it to create a video. But you may lose some
of your sounds and animation in the PowerPoint.
Another way is to use a conversion tool to help you do this directly.

There are some common ways for you to do this.
1. Windows Movie Maker, after you save you presentation to JEPG format
you can import this photo to windows movie maker but you cannot remain
your animations and sounds.Then you can use some burning software like
Nero (free) to burn your PowerPoint on DVD.
2. Using PPT2DVD to convert it directory to DVD. The address is

3. Using some screen record like comtasia, When you play your PPT you
