Powerpoint to word errors

I'm trying to send a ppt slideshow to word. I follow the instructions File,
Send, Word... Select my option for text under slides and everything looks
like its working fine. Then for some reason PPT will hang on one slide and
I'll get an error "Powerpoint couldn't write to Microsoft Office Word" and
the process will stop there.

If I delete the offending slide and try again it appears to work. Does
anyone know what causes this problem (what I need to fix on my slides?)? I'm
currently using two different computers (one where I have admin rights) and
they both hang on the exact same slides.

You may have to recreate those specific slides.

If you have time and want to troubleshoot, try deleting something from the
slide in question (on a copy of your presentation, of course! or, better
yet, create a file with just the one problem slide.) and send to Word. If it
sends, then you've found the problem item.

I'd start with anything that has a transparency or a gradient. Sometimes
those cause problems, and sometimes it's just items that overlap
transparent/gradient items.
