Powerpoint Transitioning

I have a powerpoint presentation set up. The sound is linked and I cannot
get it to transition at all. Please help!

As a default the transitions will WAIT until the linked sound has finished
playing. Could this be the problem?

Thanks John. However once the audio is finished the slides still sits there.
Any suggestions?

Which version of ppt?
Do you need an auto transition or "On click"?

Are you sure that in Set Up Show you don't have kiosk mode checked?
