powerpoint tries to call internet explorer

I have a number of powerpoint presentations which I have
generated. One of them tries to call my ISP and connect to
the web everytime I open it. I can't find out why!!

Anyone else experienced this and can tell me why??

Do you have a link to a graphic or multimedia file that is on the internet?
If so when that slide shows it will try to reach that link.

Steve,

in addition to what Mike said: you might not even have inserted that link
intentionally. If you insert Internet graphics with copy/paste, there is a
chance to copy a bit of HTML code with it, which "remembers" the internet
site and tries to open it. So its better to use "Save as" and "Insert - from
file".
