powerpoint troubles for a newbie

Hi,

I need help. I made a presentation as a slide show of pictures from up here
in remote alaska. I did so on my lap top. Our lodge has only satellite
internet, no wireless so I have to save to a cd, then load it to this 1902
computer and email it out. I cant seem to save it where it will load on here
or anywhere else for that matter. I sent it snail mail on a disk and my
friend could not open it, but I could on my computer. I want to have my
slide show available to send out in email. Like the slide shows peple get
from everywhere and everyone. Anyone can view the email, you dont need
powerpoint for it. How do I save to disk, then save to this computers hard
drive then send in email. Any other files (letters, pictures and so on) I
can do with a breeze, its just the slide show that I cant get right. Been
trying to send family pictures for 2 months and no luck. Please help!!! I
put so much time into this slide show and now no person can see it but me.
sad really.(

Hi,

If someone does not have PowerPoint on the computer they are using, you can
use the free PowerPoint viewer. You don't mention your PowerPoint version.
Anyway, Echo ahs this tutorial on creating manually for versions before
PowerPoint 2003:

The following is a good overview of your problem and a range of solutions.
