Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
PowerPoint stops responding when I try to open up a file. I can make a new file but not open an existing file. The open file screen goes to infinity horizontally while looking fine vertically. I am not experiencing this trouble with Word or Excel. PP version is 11.5.5 as are Word and Excel.
This is the same question that someone else posted 30 April. Bob Jones's response was to disenable Spaces (mine is disenabled) and to get the update OS X Leopard 10.5.6 Combo. Apply that, repair disk permissions, then restart your Mac. I run OS X 10.5.7 (9J61) and this problem still exists.
Do you have any other suggestions to try? Thanks.
