Im getting this error message when trying to end a slide
show. After i click 'ok' and then try to exit out of power
point completly i get a black screen and a mouse pointer.
The only thing i can do to get out of the program and see
my desktop is to ctrl+alt+dlt and end the program.
Im using:
windows xp pro.
Office 2000 pro.
Error message encountered when exiting
powerpoint: "Powerpoint found an error that it cannot
correct, save presentations and exit..." THen when exit
powerpoint, you receive a black screen, and the system
freezes.
What ive tried:
1.Uninstalled Office +reinstalled.
2.Deleted my profile and then recreated.
3.Uninstalled office +deleted registry keys
(CurrentUser>Software>Microsoft>Office>9(assuming you are
using office
2000)>Word and delete the Data and Options keys.)
4.Uninstalled adobe acrobat 5.0 and Norton has never been
installed.
Looking for any ideas, Thanks in advance
