powerpoint viewer 2007 on Windows Embedded Standard 2009

I had trying to install powerpoint viewer 2007 to my windows embedded system,
but it cannot open pptx file and get an error message "This file requires the
Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system to view its contents." After i
installed fileformatconverter.exe, i get another error message "The converter
failed to save the file". The powerpoint viewer does run 2003 ver file only
for 2007 ver having this problem.

I already download and install the compatibility pack, it still get the same
error. i wonder this is embedded issue or the limitation of powerpoint viewer.

Did you install all of the Priority Updates as it suggest you do on the
download page?

Yes, i installed all of the Priority Updates. It still get the same error. Is
it i missing some of the component for my embedded system?

Actually i tried to install powerpoint viewer2007 to my Windows Embedded
Standard 2009 System and came out this problem. Yes, i installed the
Microsoft Office Compability Pack SP2, it still get the same error.

You only require the compatibility pack if your Windows Operating System is
XP or 2003. According to your information, your Operating system is Windows
Seven/Windows 2009

Windows embedded standard 2009 is updated version of Windows XP Embedded and
it is the fully componentized version of Windows XP Professional.

The way I read it you should need the compatibility package with this
package. If that is not the case, then I'm sorry I don't have an answer to
your question.
