PowerPoint Viewer, Keyboard, mouse won't work

Laura

I am currentily taking a home class that uses PowerPoint.
I can't get the mouse or the key board to pause or go to
the next page during the presentation. The escape key
works. The slides will automatically go forward but I
can't do much else with it. Anyone have any suggestions.
I contacted the school and they said they haven't heard of
anything happening like that before.

First, please tell us what version of PowerPoint you are using. Have you
set the transitions to advance automatically after a certain number of
seconds, but not on mouse click? Plus have you set the Slide Show to
"Browsed at a kiosk"? That would result in what you describe.
