How do I save my presentation in Powerpoint X such that it will translate to version 97 - 2003 on a Windows computer?

Answered in your other post of the same question -- Please don't waste your
time & the time of others by posting the same issue multiple times. Doing so
will *not* get a reply any sooner. This is a newsgroup, not a
troubleshooting hotline - it may take anywhere from several hours to several
days for anyone to even see your post. If you need "immediate" attention
contact the software developer's Customer/Technical Support... And be
prepared to pay the going rate :)

All PPT versions before Windows 2007 and Mac 2008 share the same file format.

Since you have one of those previous versions, you just need to save your presentation normally.

Thank you Steve.

By the way Bob, I would absolutely take the most direct route to solve my problem. I did call tech support. They wouldn't help. Given the urgency of the matter, I did what I needed to do to increase the chances of somebody seeing my post, and seeing it early. While I'm not a tech genius, I should be allowed to seek resources to get my problem solved. Should you feel I don't deserve an answer, it's alright with me if you left it alone. There's no need to condemn. So thanks for your previous post, but no thanks for the lecture!

Not a lecture nor condemnation, just a brief explanation combined with a
legitimate request. And you're certainly welcome to use any resources
available to you, provided they're used appropriately. This isn't *my*
protocol, it's pretty much the universal standard in any newsgroup around
the world... Multi-posting is considered an abuse of the resource.

Those who respond here do so voluntarily in an effort to assist other users.
The amount of time each can contribute is limited. Do you think it's fair
that the time of 2 people be taken to respond to separate postings of your
one question? That time could be spent helping another whose urgency to them
is just as significant as yours is to you.

It isn't that you don't deserve an answer -- were that the case I would not
have provided one... But asking once is enough. If you can't respect that
you should be prepared to accept the consequences.
