The following presumes your computer has a disc burning drive:

Insert blank disc
Click OK
Drag PowerPoint presentation to the disk icon then let go
Drag the disk icon to the trash then let go
Click burn
When done burning drag disc to trash again.

Hi, BIKERS

If your disk is a CD, go to PowerPoint(2003),
file->package for CD
You wiil get an .exe file which can be played on a computer without
PowerPoint installed or PowerPoint Viewer.
For more details, go to
http://www.echosvoice.com/autoruncd.htm

If your disk is a DVD, i think you have to convert the presentation to
a video file with a conversion software and then burn the video file
to DVD with a burner.
For the conversion application, you can have a look atPPT2DVD at
http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-dvd.html

good luck !

Hi Nania -

Excellent reply for a user of PPt on the *Windows* platform, but this is the
*Macintosh* PPt newsgroup... Although the OP doesn't specify anything about
what he/she is working with.

Mac PPt doesn't have such a command directly from the File menu. Instead you
select PowerPoint Package from the list of file types in the Save As dialog.
The Package (on either platform) normally doesn't get saved directly to the
CD, & that seems to be where the OP is having a problem.
