I am trying to teach myself powerpoint. i have 2 problems so far.
1- how can i get it to automatically move onto the next slide without having
to use the keyboard to prompt it and
2 - i have added music (from windows media player) but it only plays with
the first picture, and i would like it to keep playing through all the
pictures

For number 1, do you mean in a slide show or in normal editing view? If you
want that to happen in a slide show, you have to set up an automatic
transition. Helps us help you if you mention which version of PPT you're
using....

For #2, you need to set the sound to play across slides or to play for 999
slides. Again, we can tell you where to find that specifically if you
mention which version of PPT you're using.
