It's normal; not good, but it's as MS designed it.
Is it planning for a next update ?

MS hasn't announced anything about the next version or updates to this one. We
don't know yet.

Thanks Steve.

I see that OpenXML should be the right way for designing PPT2007's Graph.

Is it possible with the OpenXML way to update graphic data while a slideshow is
running ? Like we can do with PPT2003 and MsGraph.

I doubt you could modify a running show, but you might be able to save a copy,
modify that, open it and close the first show.

every day users of our software make live change on slideshow.
It's very easy with Powerpoint2003 and MsGraph automation.

do you make automation with mouse click ?
we are in the group office.developer.automation, so we make the show running
with code, no click !

Yes. But your question refers to PowerPoint 2007 ;-)

2007 uses Excel to create graphs, and they're not exposed through the object model.

If your users have installed the optional MSGraph component your automation code could
still use that to create charts, but until MS fixes the problem, you can't do anything
with the charts users now create in 2007.
