PP 2007 add-in does not load

I recently upgraded from office 2003 to 2007 on my Vista Ultimate system. Now
when I start PP it reports "PP couldn't load the add-in" but it does not tell
me which add-in is the issue. When I view the Options and select add-in I'm
not sure what I should be looking for to tell me what add-in is creating the
issue.

Well, what add-ins do you see installed in Options | Add-ins?

You may have to disable them one at a time until you can find the culprit.

JGT,
When you upgrade, PPT 2007 migrates the add-in information from PPT 2003.

Check for any add-in entries which may point to non-existent files on disk
in the following locations in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\AddIns
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\AddIns

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\AddIns
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\AddIns

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\AddIns has
OfficeReady 3.0 (I see "defaut" but it has no value and "AutoLoad" is hex zero

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\AddIns
There is no AddIns for this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\AddIns
there is no AddIns for this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\AddIns
There is no AddIns for this

By "there is no AddIns for this" I mean there is no "AddIns" folder for
those keys.

When I look at the Options > Add-Ins, under active I see
Google Desktop Office Addin (I don't know how to disable it)

Under Inactive I see
Custom XML Data (it points to a folder) type is document inspector
Invisible On-Slide Content (It points to a folder) type is document inspector
OfficeReady 3.0 (it does not point to a folder) type is PP AddIn
OfficeReady 3.0 Start (it does not point to a folder) type is PP AddIn
Off-slide content (it points to a folder) type is document inspector
Presentation Notes (it points to a folder) type is document inspector

Thus the only AddIns I see are inactive.
