PP 2007...Presentation to DVD help

Melissa

I've searched Google groups, but am not understanding all I read. I know I
can output this to CD using PP, but that means that folks need not only a
computer, but a computer running Windows 2000 or beyond.

I'd like to package this to a DVD that anyone with a DVD player can show.
It seems, from what I read, that I need a utility to convert these files
into Video files and not just Data files. I didn't want to download
something until I knew it could be recommended by someone who knows.

Since I used Vista and PP 2007, virtually no one can read or use this file
as is. Can someone point me in the right direction? I can study and read
up and don't need a total hand holding, but I do need some help along the
way.

The wedding presentation went perfectly BTW and everyone loved it.

This system came loaded with Roxio DE, but it doesn't seem to recognize
either of the new PP extensions, whether Presentation or Show, as far as
importing it into Roxio.

I'd like to make this as easy as possible for those who want DVD's. Many
are not computer savy, but do have DVD players.

We can borrow a stand alone DVD burner that we used before to transfer a
Presentation using PP 2000. We just hooked the portabe up and "exported" the
presentation to it's DVD's. That unit must have done the needed conversion
"behind the scenes" as it were. If that is our best option, we can borrow
it again, but it's at least 7 years old and I'm not sure it will deal with
PP 2007.

TIA,

Melissa

About the animation and music
This program supports the conversion of most transitions, text animations,
graphics animations in PowerPoint Music can also be well preserved in sync
with the slides.
For better conversion results, it is recommended to add the music after
conversion with the" add background music " fearure in the program.
