PP 2008 sound quits after first slide

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I added music to go with a slide show, but the sound stops after first slide, or it the song will start over again at the beginning of each slide.
I want the music to start with the first slide and play thru all the slides.
