PP hangs at start of the program

After opening a PPP produced on a PC, the PP X hang when I started to
click through the slides. I had to force PP X to quit. Since then,
PP X will start but after 2-3 seconds begins to search for some
plugins or whatever (I can only guess) and hangs. I can't do anything
and have to force-quit the program. I did copy the Microsoft Office
folder from my backup diskdrive to correct the problem but it didn't
change anything. Are there any preference or cache files that need to
be erased? What's the problem?

The updates you need, if you haven't yet applied them, are 10.1.2, 10.1.4,
and 10.1.5.
