Issue: PowerPoint 2007 will not print all of brochure (font/back &
text/images) for last three months. Sometimes it will print part of both.
Worked fine for 2 years, now it doesn't. Seems to have an issue with higher
end graphics/text formats that are part of PowerPoint 2007, shadows, and some
imported graphics/images. Tried to remake whole brochure and did not matter.
Size of file is not an issue when printing. Larger files without shadows,
etc. will print.
Not a printer problem or driver problem. Reinstalled print driver. Main
copier/printer checked by printer guy and it is fine. Brochures use to print
fine to ALL color/bw printers and now does not.
According to IT guys, not a computer/network/virus protection issue.
Checking High Quality box does not matter. I use to check High Quality in
order to get it to print shadows, but no longer seems to matter.
Using: Win XP Pro w/SP3 (work computer), regular MS Office updates w/SP2 and
Symantec AntiVirus, regular updates from State agency
By the way, if I copy and paste entire brochure into MS Publisher, it will
print, but quality is poor. Can also print as pdf, but pdf will cause the
whole image to print further in from the edges and cannot fold brochure
correctly and looks bad.
