PP2003 don't always draw all objects on a slide in slideshows

Some times PowerPoint 2003 skips to draw the background or some other
objects, when doing slideshows. If you go to the side again all object will
be drawn.
Is this a know problem? Is there any patch available? I have use Office
Update and Windows Update and Detect and Repair i PP but I still have the
problem.

We have notes this problem on more then 10 different computers, with
different version of Windows XP and PowerPoint 2003. The problem occurs also
in PowerPoint2002, but at a much lower frequency. On my own computer I have
PowerPoint 2003 (11.6361.6408) in Swedish.

We use our own software to control PowerPoint throw the COM-interface. The
software use then function
“.Presentations.Item(x).SlideShowWindow.View.GotoSlide.†and
“SlideShowSettings.Run.View.Nextâ€
After this we send “.Presentations.Item(x).SlideShowWindow.Activate†too
ensure that right presentation is in focus.

Now I have tried to turn off graphics hardware acceleration. It doesn’t solve
the problem.
My computer has A ATI Radeon 9700 Pro graphic adapter. We have also seen
this problem on computer with the following graphics adapter.
- Matrox G550
- ATI Mobility Radeon 9000
- ATI Mobility Redeon 9700

I don’t have any thing to do with how I control PowerPoint throw the
COM-interface?

I hope that we can solve this problem. Because this have been a big problem
for us, now when it is impossible to bay more PowerPoint 2002 license.

Have you updated your video drivers recently? New drivers were released
yesterday for many ATI cards. If the Mobility cards are in laptops, check the
laptop manufacturer website For the Radeon 9700 Pro, check

Now I have downloaded the latest ATI driver for my card and install it. But
the problem with PowerPoint is still their.
Could it have anything to do with that I control PowerPoint throw the
COM-interface? Because the problems don’t appears when we use PowerPoint at
the normal way.

Are you helped if I make a test program with source code, include some
presentation and send it to you?

Or do you have any other suggestions?
