Hi,
I have created a .pot file in pp2003. It has a title master with a
placeholder and a date field. In the "Insert date&time" dialog box I have
checked "Date and time" and choosen fixed date. I have created an event that
sets the date to todays date. This works fine in pp2003.
In pp2007, the placeholder with the date in the TitleMaster, is not visible
in a created presentation. When you go to SlideMaster View (through "View
SlideMaster") the datebox is visible with the correct date. So the event
executes fine and the date is set, but it isn't visible in normal view.
One difference between pp2003 and pp2007 is that in pp2003 the date
placeholder is not accessable in normal view. In pp2007 the date placeholder
is accesible. If I manually in pp2007, in the created presentation, use
"Insert Date & Time" in Normal View, the checkbox "Date and time" is not
checked. In the Fixed textbox the inserted date is visible but greyed. If I
check "Date and Time" and click "Apply to All", the date is shown in the date
placeholder.
So, my problem is that the automated date insertion at the Document_new
event works just as expected in pp2003. It works fine in 2007 apart from that
the date isnt shown in normal view because the Date an time checkbox isn't
checked in Insert Date&time.
What can I do?
