PP2007. The path or file name for "\\path\filename" is invalid.

Recently upgraded the whole company to Office 2007.
Running Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 with Office 2007 Pro on the Citrix
server.

User can open a powerpoint file (does not matter what version), but when
they go to 'save as' it comes up with "The path or file name for
'\\path\filename' is invalid. Do you want to save to a different file name?"

Does not matter what version or which folder or length of path+file name -
the same message. This does not occur when 'saving as' in Word 2007 or Excel
2007 or PP2003 so I know it is not a permissions issue.

I can use My Computer to browse to the folder and right click to create a
new PP2007 file (or to copy another ppt or pptx file), then use PP2007 to
save as that newly created file. So I can 'save as' if the file exists
already but not if it does not exist in the folder. Not an ideal workaround
for one product.

Anyone have any suggestions?
This is only with PP2007.

I have a similar issue, only it's with PowerPoint 2000 and Windows Server
2003.
When my users try to save a copy of the file using 'Save As' they get the
following error:
Powerpoint can't access g:\....\test.ppt becaouse the file name is invalid

I have tried various scenarios and came to the following conclusions:

*It doesn't seem to be a permissions issue, it is universal across the
agency drives, but you can still save to a local disk
*Only domain admins can 'Save As' without errors, even when I temporarily
gave the users full control of their files
*It only seems to affect PowerPoint and only if you're doing a 'Save as' and
have inserted a picture or other object. Sticking to text slides has no
issues. I tried all the other Office programs and some third party programs
without any trouble.
*It isn't the DFS, I tried it with the full server path with the same issues.
*They can still copy/delete/rename using a standard file browser without any
issues

As an easier workaround I've discovered they can change the file type to
'Powerpoint 97-2000 & 95 Presenatation' and it saves without any errors
(other than the warning that you may lose some features).

We have not upgraded office recently and this just recently started
happening in the last few weeks. Anybody have a suggestion on how to resolve
this issue completely?
