PPS 2007 / Project Server Gateway issue

S

SP

Dear all,

I'm having a terrible time trying to get integration with Project Server -
Portfolio Server 2007 up and running.

I am running:

PS 2007 SP1
PPS 2007 SP1
SQL 2005 SP2 with SRSS & SRSS Add-in for Sharepoint. SRSS instance is in
WSS integrated mode.
WSS 3.0

All on the same box (demo system).

My PS server is up and running fine. I can install PPS without difficulty.

Issue 1.

When I go to <servername>/reportserver/reports, I do not see a listing of
PPS reports. I do get ReportServer coming up, but its only showing me a DIR
listing of two local virtual directories, neither of them having anything to
do with ReportServer specifically. What gives here?

Issue 2.

When I try to setup the PS Gateway, I can input everything, but when I test
with Attribute Template mapping, I get a XML return (which isn't parsed
correctly, its the straight XML code).

If I use http://servername:5224/ssp/ I get "file not found". If I use
http://servername:5224/ssp/admin/ I get "file is blocked...."

No idea what to do anymore....

During our installation of PPS2007 we had the same problem as you described
in Issue 1. After directly accessing the SQL reports folder on the server,
we found the reports with a .rdlh extension. The "h" hides the files. We
renamed them all with .rdl and they showed up in PPS.

Hope this helps.
