I created a slide show in .pps format and uploaded it to a host server for
one of my web sites. The file opens as though it were saved in .ppt format
and the background music has disappeared. Any suggestions as to how to get
it to auto open? It can be viewed at:

Hello, If you upload the PPS file to website directly, it can not show
it automatically, and the music will not be played back.

It is because the music is linked to your PowerPoint presentation,
when you play the presentation to other place or upload it to web
directly, the linked music will not be shown.

The difference between linked and embedded, please view:

I strongly recommand you convert your PPS to Flash and then upload the
Flash to your WebSite. Some third party presentation tool such as
Wondershare PPT2Flash Standard http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash..html
can help you do this work. You can convert it with one click. Of
course, all the original effect can be retained in Flash. You don't
worry about the effect.
