PPs not displaying images or slides correctly

I have a new install of Powerpoint 2000 SP-3 9.0.6620. When playing a pps
that was sent to me that has timed slides, the slides will "stack" on top of
each other. Every few slides it will clear. I installed the pptplayer
mentioned in another article, and the slides no longer display all images,
although the timing is right. I disabled the timing on the slides and played
it manually, with the same results. The pps plays fine on colleagues'
machines.

Try changing your hardware acceleration.

Wow, I don't know, then. Maybe try updating your video drivers.
