PPS Slideshow Witin a PPT presentation

I'd like to have a Slideshow embedded within a powerpoint presentation. In
the middle of the presentation, I'd like to just move to a new slide, "24"
which then would run a slideshow automatically as I answer questions. Then,
I'd like to transition on with the presentation. Can I do this w/o having
someone on the computer switch back and forth from the the two files? I
tried importing the PPS as its own slide, and as an object. Neither runs
automatically, and when I try to end the PPS, when I hit "escape" I not only
end the PPS but also the PPT. IDeas?
