PPT 2002 Unable to use Routing Recipient Feature

Greetings All:

When I try to use the feature Routing Recipient (File > Send To >
Routing Recipient)and click on the Address button I get the error
message of "The e-mail system has failed. Restart Windows and try again."

Default Email System: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.7
PPT Program: 2002
Operating System: Windows XP
Default Browser: Mozilla

On a side note I checked my IE browser settings (Tools > Internet
Options > Programs) and IE also list Mozilla Thunderbird as my email
program.

Is this feature only supported by Outlook or maybe MS Exchange Server?
