PPT 2007 Automatic Font Change for Arial and Times New Roman

I have ppt 2007, and have noticed that when I receive a slide presentation
using an earlier version (mostly 2003), as soon as I open it the font (Arial)
is displaced about 1/2 line up from where it should be...
I read the comment about using the "replace font..." which greatly reduces
my work load when attempting to correct a 100 slide deck...

Is there anything I can do so that the effect does not occur? It would
help, since the industry I am in seems to rely on those two fonts. BTW, when
I scroll down my Font list, Arial and TNR are the only two that "jump" 1/2
line upwards, all the rest seem to adjust.

in PPT 2007 are often caused by incompatible printer drivers. [I fear your
IT people will say, "We know how to install a printer driver, why's he
sending us this?" ]

Have a very responsive IT team. They spent a few minutes changing my print
driver from the PL6 to the PS3 driver and the problem was corrected.
Apparently the Toshiba printer we have came with the two drivers, the PL6
being the newer of the two drivers, however the postscript driver made the
difference. (I am one of the first with the MS Office 2007)
