PPT 2007 crashed on "Stop fitting text to this placeholder"

All of sudden (over the weekend), my PowerPoint 2007 now crashes when I
select "Stop fitting text to this placeholder." Other than installing the
latest OS/Office updates since that time, I haven't done anything else to my
system.

Any clues? Anybody else noticed this behavior?

I'm going to suggest that it may be an issue with the printer driver. See if
doing this fixes it:
