PPT 2007 paste special picture format conversion.

Nam

I am frequently required to make slides with a lot of 3D plots. When I was
using the previous version of PPT, I usually converted the format of those 3D
plots from the original meta file to png, because working with them in the
original format may cause severe slowering down of the system. But, since
after I upgraded to PPT 2008, I've not been able to do like this, because
there is no 'png' option in paste special menu. Is there any workaround for
this problem?

Hi Nam,

It's there in PPT 2007, on the Home tab, the first icon is Paste. Copy your
3D plot/chart/whatever, click the Paste icon, then Paste Special from the
dropdown . Choose PNG (second option) from the available formats.
