Hello! - I am attempting to create a poster for a forthcoming conference. I
have never done this before in a way that creates a single giant poster that
I can print on a poster printer, but it has become the most common way to do
them lately. In my discussions with people that have done this before, many
have done it in PowerPoint and recommend it. The size limit we have for this
poster is 48" x 96"; I would like to make it a bit smaller than that (say,
48" x 84"), but PowerPoint 2007, which I only had installed last week, won't
let me set a page size with anything wider than 56" (or, at least, I have not
found a way around that absurdly small number). Is there a workaround for
this, or do I need to abandon PowerPoint and move to a graphics program
instead to get the size I need? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
