PPT launching external application

Hello,

Is there a way for PPT to launch an external application without any
security warning? Would digitally signing this application bypass the
security warning?

Oh and I ment to include Macro security is unchangable so by default it would
be at High.

Thank you for that link.

Quick reply, that link describes scenario for launching something from
hyperlink Action Setting; but what about when running some application by
"Run Program" or by "Inserting Object"? Is there anyway to disable those
security warnings? I guess your link states that in Office 2003, running
EXE gives a warning unless security is set to Low. But what about
authenticode and digitally signing that EXE? What does Authenticode and
Digitally Signed EXE provide to PPT? Does behavior (security warning)
change depending on signed EXE? Or what I'm trying to accomplish (execute
EXE without any security warning without changing security setting to Low)
is not possible with PowerPoint?

Has anybody tried this with signed EXE?

Sorry about double posting :)
