PPT notes text doesn't size to fit page

When typing notes in a powerpoint presentation, the text size generally
changes so that all text fits on the page. However, sometimes the text
refuses to size and half my notes are left off. Does anyone have a solution
for this?

Hi Linda

AFAIK the notes text in powerpoint is always the same size (10point Arial I
think) Do you mean the text in a text placehoder on a slide. If so the
difference is probably the setting in tools > auto correct options > auto fit
text to placeholder
