I know ppt has options for object animation, but these are entrances and exits. Does anyone know how to simply animate an object in a slide? When I say animate, I mean have it start at one point and move or rotate to another point I assign. Any help?

I believe you are referring to Path Animation. That is not enabled in
Mac PowerPoint. You can, however, still have path animation from
Windows PPT files. You can also use Applescript to create path
animation, as it is still in the Applescript dictionary.

Hi,

You can do Path animations of your PowerPoint presentations by
installing NeoOffice, which is free http://www.neooffice.org/

I'm not especially fond of NeoOffice's presentation aspects, but at
least you can create and edit path animations then save the file back
out in PowerPoint format.
