PPT on Mac and PC

Ute Simon

My colleague is working with PowerPoint 2004 on a Powerbook, I am using
PowerPoint 2002 on a PC. Whenever she asks me to explain something to her, I
often can't find the symbols or menu items in her version (e.g. where is
something equivalent to the Design TaskPane or Tools/Options on the Mac?).

Is there anyone here who can guide me to a book or website about the mac
version of PowerPoint (in English or German), so that I am able to help her?

Thanks a lot,
regards

Ute

Tool/Options on the Mac is in the PowerPoint menu under Preferences (Edit
menu in older Mac versions). I don't have 2004 (I still have X), so I'm
not sure where the Design Taskpane is, but in X, there are no task panes,
just dialog boxes (like the older versions of PowerPoint for the PC), but
they are accessed in the same way (in the Format menu).
