PPT plays movies on one comp. but not on another (movie clip copi

Movie clips were added to a PPT file residing on my flash drive using my
school computer. My home computer plays the file on the flash drive OK, but
I cannot get the PPT presentation to play the movie when copied to my home
computer's hard drive. I have tried the following:
-recopied the movie from the original source and inserted the clip again
-created a new slide and inserted the movie clip
Nothing seems to work to get the PPT on my home computer to play the movie.
I need this to work at home so I can do my lessons over the summer. (I am a
teacher).
