Hi all ,
this is the first time that I use PowerPoint XP .

I need to export my Presentation , in AVI format or any other format
that preserve animation/transition effect .

JPG , is good : but it do not save the SlideEffects or transitionEffect .
It only save the last frame of all Slide :-(

It is possible to save to convert .PPT in AVI/MOV with PowerPoint XP
or another program ?

Sure, run your AVI/MOV recorder and play the presentation.

Why do you need to convert the presentation to another format that does what
the Ppt format can do? (There's a good Ppt viewer...)

Camtasia isn't freeware that's true. I'm pretty sure there is a 30 day
download last time I looked.

It would be nice if powerpoint could just save as an AVI....but it cannot.

Powerpoint on the mac can save as a quicktime video file. But that's not
without problems.

Windows Media Encoder is a FREE download and does a better job. (IMHO)
