I can't repro it here, although I'll admit 'm using PPT 2003 to create
the file.
How did you set up the color change? Dim after animation?
First:
I did change the original PPT master for both the object that is in
all the slides and the standard text colours. I changed the object
colour to a baby blue (from a green) and the standard text colour from
a green to a navy blue bolded.. I selected these colours from the
palette and they were not the regular alternatives offered for change.
I kept the original font type (Arial) and the original background
(white).
Second:
I picked the light purple colour of the "Dim After Animation" from
the palette rather than from the default colours offered.
Emphasis
animation (change font color)? Something else? (If it's dim after
animation, what's the animation effect that happens before the dim?)
I did not select any special slide transition effect. However, the
text animation works like this:
The Title on each slide (except the last) has the same wording, no
animation, and does not change.
I used numbering for the paragraphs and bullets for the subparagraphs
for all slides except for the first one (title slide) and the last.
The animation for the paragraphs and subparagraphs is a "Dissolve In."
The entrance of the first paragraph on each slide is "After Previous,"
and for the remaining paragraphs and/or subparagraphs is "On Click."
Except for the last paragraph or subparagraph on each slide, the rest
dim to my light purple colour selection after animation. The last
paragraph or subparagraph does not.
When I run my PPT Presentation using PPT XP on my Windows XP computer,
the dimming displays the light purple exactly as intended; but on the
same computer and a different one, PPT Viewer 2003 displays the
dimming colour as a light green.
What color (RGB values, please) are you using for both the original
text and the font color change?
RGB for standard text: 0, 0, 153
RGB for dimming: 204, 153, 205
Finally, I get the same results running my presentation on another
computer. Using PPT XP... no problem; using the 2003 Viewer... light
purple dimming colour changes to light green.
