PPT Viewer 2003 for Pack and Go

(1) For Pack n Go, can I just add the newly downloaded ppview.exe file (1,1991
KB) (one file) (not yet installed on my machine, but is still in download
folder) into the slide show working folder, or does it have to be expanded
somewhere first?

Or does Pack n Go take care of that? And if I let "PacknGo" find it, will it go
over to the XLators file and grab up an old viewer instead? Or is Pack n Go
going to ask me where I keep the new one?

Once I run Pack n Go, and get to my destination, does the Pack n Go routine take
care of setting up and opening the viewer inside the CD for the first and
subsequent slide shows?

(2) I just read the overview for the new viewer. It says:
The following Microsoft PowerPoint features are not supported by this viewer:
Running macros, programs, or opening linked or embedded objects.

I have already embedded a couple of fonts in this show I'm ready to pack up.
Does that mean I should un-embed these fonts? If I do, will PnG automatically
pick up all the fonts for the package?

Unfortunately Pack and Go does not use the new Viewer at all. It only uses
the old Viewer.

Embedded fonts work fine in the new Viewer. They are not included in the
exceptions listed.

Well, at least I know if I get in a jamb, i can always install, use, and then
uninstall the viewer on another computer. Thanks, Sonia.
