PPT vX Outline view, Organization Chart problems

Using brand new copy of Office vX (10.1.4) installed on G4 PB 12inch
running 10.2.7. 2 quirks so far:

If I change something in an Org Chart and select 'update and return
to...' then instead of going back to updated slide I get the dialogue
box warning me I haven't updated the presentation yet!

Outline view is very weird. Selecting the Outline view button on the
toolbar at bottom left results in the tri-pane Normal View, but with
the slide pane initially set smaller than in the Normal View. I've
added the Outline command to View menu using customise. If I use that
then I get a 'proper' single pane outline view. But if I then use the
buttons again to select 'Normal' then the 'Outline' button gets
highlighted and I get the tri-pane Outline view back! The only way to
get a single pane Outline view is using the menu command, which makes
swapping from Slide to Outline and back awkward. Actually don't really
like tri-pane view on Powerbook since the screen 1024x768 means making
the slide big enough to work in makes the Outline column too narrow.

Would updating to 10.1.5 fix this or create more problems?

Hey I am trying to get a sound file (mp3) to play over a bunch of slides,
not just for the one that it is attatched to. Is this possible in
powerpoint? Right now the sound clip just stops when I go to the next slide.
Please help.

Hi Adrian,

First try using Disk Utility First Aid to repair permissions. See if that
helps.
