PPT2003 files freeze PPT2007 program

I have just upgraded to PPT2007.
Some of my PTT2003 files will not open in PPT2007, and PPT2007 stops running.
Other PPT2003 files will open okay.
All PPT2003 files open okay in PPT2003

Can anyone identify what the problem might be?
