PPT2007 fails to start after a presentation of the second monitor

Hi,
I have Xp Pro SP2 and Office 2007.
All of Office 2007 seems to work but I can't start Powerpoint 2007. I've
tried a de-install and re-install of PPT and Office - no joy.

When I start PPT2007, the splash screen appears and then the PPT2007 window
starts to appear. However, PPT 2007 crashes before it completes loading.
There is no error message. Next time I run I get the "Safe Mode" option and
this crashes also.

The problem started when I ran a presentation on a second monitor. I used
the option drop down box to tell PPT to display on the projector.
It worked absolutely perfectly but since then I haven't been able to start
PPT2007 at all.
I've tried it with and without a second monitor.

It first went faulty in my username so I started using it in a different
username (administrator) but that has now gone faulty after I ran another
presentation.

Could someone please help me as I can't do my work now. There is obviously
a user based setting that is being amended but I can't find it and the
un-install package doesn't remove it either.

Hi Graham

Very odd. two quick questions - do you have SP1 for 2007 installed? Do you
have a local printer driver installed (crazy I know, but humour me)?
