Pragraph ending mark

I am facing a very confusing problem in one of my system. It is not taking
the paragraph end mark as hard return mark but as a symbol. Due to that my
client for whom i am doing medical transcription is facing a problem as their
server is not excepting the documents which have this problem. I am unable to
understand this problem as well as dont know how to deal with it. Kindly
help me in this regard.

If you have pilcrow symbol(s) where you want paragraph marks, do a find and
replace.

Find: ^0182 (if this doesn't work copy and paste one of the symbols from
your document)
Replace with: ^p
Hit Replace All

If pressing Enter is generating the symbols instead of paragraph marks then
take a look at your keyboard customizations - it isn't normal but it is
possible to assign the Enter key. Select Tools > Customize from the Menu.
Press on Keyboard... Under Categories (on the left), scroll down and select
Common Symbols. Under Common Symbols (now on the right), scroll down and
select ¶ Paragraph. If there is an assignment under "Current Keys", select
it and press Remove. Then press Close, and Close (again) to quit the dialog.
