PRB : DTPicker updated date value not saved in Custom Field

hello,

I have a custom task form which has a DTPicker control linked with a custom
field of type Date/Time with the format dd.MM.yyyy.

when I create a new custom task and save it, the date value is saved, but
when I modify an existing task item, the new date value is not saved. WHY ?

OL 2002-SP2 on WinXP
